Polypedates leucomystax – also called the common tree frog or four-lined tree frog – is a medium-sized, highly adaptable amphibian found across South and Southeast Asia. Light brown to yellowish in color, it often shows four darker stripes along its back. Arboreal and nocturnal, it thrives in forests, wetlands, gardens, and urban areas. During breeding, it lays foamy egg masses on vegetation above water, from which tadpoles drop after hatching.
