Ducetia antipoda is a species of bush cricket (katydid) in the family Tettigoniidae, distributed across parts of Asia. It is characterized by its slender, leaf-like green body and long antennae, which provide excellent camouflage among foliage. Like other katydids, it produces sound (stridulation) by rubbing its wings together, especially at night. Primarily herbivorous, it feeds on leaves and other plant material, though some may also consume small insects. While harmless to humans, it plays a role in the food web as both a plant consumer and prey for birds, reptiles, and other insectivores.
