Merawan Siput Jantan (Hopea odorata)

Hopea odorata, commonly known as the ta-khian or ironwood tree, is a large tropical hardwood tree in the Dipterocarpaceae family. Native to Southeast Asia, it is highly valued for its durable and dense timber, which is used in construction, furniture, and boat building. Traditionally, parts of the tree—including resin and bark—have also been used in folk medicine for their anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
